REVIEW: SHINee's Be My Princess review ( Ms. Holic )

    Happy Monday everyone!! It's 12:39 pm right now and I bet you are wondering why I'm making this post when I should be in school......well...I got sent home by my mother, because i'm sick //huffs//. I was almost there, but something happened and I was sent home..I kinda wanted to go to school, but whatever I need my rest. Any who~ time to talk about what i'm about to post.... drum roll please /insert drum rolls/ TA-DA, i'm going to be talking about/reviewing SHINee's Be My Princess perfume from Etude House! When I first found out they had been the one to design their bottles and pick their smells I knew I had to have it (who wouldn't want to smell like their princess (ʃƪ ˘ ³˘)). My review will be short and won't have as much detailed pictures as I wanted it to have, but I have no choice since my camera and software have been taken from me and haven't been returned...I promise i'll do a better review next time..with that note, on to the review~ Here is a picture of all the bottles and a close up of the bottle I bought and the info. (the following two pictures are not mine and are taken from google)

   Now here is my picture of the bottle I had bought (I took this from MY tumblr since I remembered I had taken a picture of it...so I didn't steal this from someone, before you guys wonder about the watermark).

   Isn't it just the cutest thing?! The details on the bottle are amazing and I do like the design of the box and bottle. They have a check list if you qualify as his princess on the side with a chibi version of him and his signature. The ribbon/bunny rabbit thing on her head is removable and is able to be plugged into the earphone jack/hole of your phone/itouch etc. Sigh, I wish I had my camera with me to show you guys, but hope you understand. The weight of the bottle is quite heavy, but nothing too bad. To access the perfume you just have to decapitate her (no really, you gotta get rid of her head). Once you get rid of her head you will see the nozzle, which in all honesty I don't like very much. I know the bottle isn't made by glass, which is good, because i'm so clumsy I could drop it.......but the nozzle I don't know...it looks a bit cheap to me, but it's alright (forgive my horrible iphone quality picture)

   When I sprayed this on myself, it wasn't necessarily hard to push the nozzle, but the way the bottle sprayed it out was not smooth at all and more like weird squirts (if that makes sense). I think over time it will get better, but not too happy about it. So the smell for these mists/perfume is categorized in 3 layers, for those who are confused let me explain. 

   As hours passed the smell will change from when you sprayed it. You will first smell the top layer, then within a few hours later you will smell like the middle, and by the end you will smell like the bottom when the perfume is almost to it's end and this smell supposedly will be a more "natural/normal" smell (whatever that is). I had picked Jonghyun's perfume, because I really like fruity and floral smells and to have it transition like that made me very happy (also jonghyun is an idiot that I love so much, so I was a bit bias when I was picking (つω⊂* )). I was bit disappointed though when I had sprayed it...the perfume totally did not have a fruity scent at all and quickly skipped the top layer and went to the second layer (I was totally looking forward to smelling like a fruit basket)!! The whole purpose of me getting this was for the fruity smell to be honest...but i'm not too disappointed ,because the floral smell..smells (LOL?) quite good and it isn't too strong. A few people said they had trouble with putting the cap back on, but I didn't have that problem (is it because I have inhuman strength?! [no] ). *fast forward into the future aka 3 hours since I've started writing this post* It's been around 3 hours since I've sprayed it and you can still smell the floral scent. I don't know how long this perfume will stay on, but if you're curious..please leave a comment down below and i'll tell you how long it lasted for me (after the three hours). Like I said the scent isn't too over powering which is good, but I don't think it is a perfume others can smell (that sounded way creepy). To elaborate on what I just said, it's not a smell someone can smell when you walk past them or you're near them, if that makes sense (I don't go around sniffing people btw.......HAHAHA it just seems so creepy that i'm adding this part to my review). I like it when perfumes are able to stick to you and others around you can smell it without being over powering...it's like when you walk past someone and you're like what's that smell (hopefully a good smell)?! For this one, I feel like no one could really smell it unless you told them to sniff you. Maybe it's because I didn't spray a lot, but yeah the scent doesn't project that well...maybe I'll try to spray more next time to see if it does project well (or I just know people who don't have the best sense of smell). Anyways, enough blabbering and time to cut this review short and go on to the wonderful rating.

   I give it 5/5 jonghyuns ( Isn't this pixel so cute, SCREAMS. The wonderful fantakoi from DA made it). Although the nozzle was not my favorite, every other design aspect was impeccable..so I am able to look over that small detail. 

smell: .5 / 5

   Not too strong, not too light..I give it a 4.5. The only reason I'm giving it a 4.5 is, because it totally skipped over the fruity scent I have been dying to smell. Other than that, the smell is very nice and it makes me curious on the other guy's perfume scent. If you're into a semi-light floral scent I recommend this one.

lasting power/projection: / 5
   So far for me it has lasted around 3 hours and counting. You also have to take in count that I'm not doing anything crazy physical so my skin isn't sweating and getting rid of the mist/perfume ( I actually don't sweat a lot..so it wouldn't be a problem for me anyway). Like I said in my review, the projection isn't that great so i'm a bit disappointed with that than the lasting power..with that..I give this category a 4/5 jonghyuns.

   
    All in all? I do recommend this mist/perfume, especially if you're a SHINee/Jonghyun fan. When I do have extra money, I might buy the rest of them just so I can have..they are good for decorating your room hehe and they smell good.
