August Favorites

          

     Hello readers! Sorry I've been MIA. I've been quite busy and then I fell into a slump, but I think from now on i'll try my best to start blogging more often. I know it's a bit early for an August favorites post, but I thought it was a bit too late to do a July one. Better early than late??? Enough with my rambling..let's get to the items!

OVERVIEW

        Here is an overview of what I'm going to be talking about today.

Collective Haul

  Happy Friday y'all! It's been so long and i'm sorry for that. School is kicking my butt right now, so shopping has been my only escape from the craziness haha. Anyways here is a picture of a few things I bought and tiny info about each.

I've been having such a lip craze lately that when I saw this box I had to snatch it up...especially since i'm in love with all the colors in this box. The box is quite pricey, but in my opinion it was absolutely worth it. It is $59 w/o tax and the value of this set it $192 and I think that's an amazing deal. I'm not one to spend a big $$ on things, but I couldn't help myself. Although if you couldn't tell I got my first YSL lippie, which I bought with a gift card...I still died when I bought it though HAHA. I'm kinda on the fence with this product..maybe because although I love this shade it wasn't my favorite? I don't know..i'll use it a bit more and let you guys know. P.S I might do a review on the sephora box set if anyone is interested in purchasing it haha lmk.

I went to vegas last weekend and sadly I didn't buy a lot, but I guess I saved money HAHA. I'm just a jewelry type of gal so when I saw these necklaces I knew I had to pick it up. Hopefully I don't lose them like all my other necklaces ugh. The speakers I bought are amazing so far, but my cousin had a problem with hers so i'm a bit scared and irritated now. Hopefully it won't happen to me. On to the next item! My first bottle of dry shampoo and i'm lovin it. Hopefully it's something I'll like enough to repurchase it, will keep you all updated. Last but not least my adorable flats I got on super sale for $8 and a couple of sets. I'm honestly so glad I got them because they are super cute on and surprisingly super super comfortable which is a hard thing to find when it comes to pointy shoes. 

I got a bit of clothes and brushes, but i'm too lazy to take pictures of it...oops...but the one thing you can see from this picture is my freakin adorable tsum tsum plushie!! I'm so happy I was able to find it, because they are honestly very hard to find!!! Especially the medium-large sizes!! They usually only have the small ones or medium/large sized minnie and mickey, which are cute..but I rather have other characters eep. Hopefully one day I can own the eeyore one or donald duck!! So in love with these tsum tsum plushies haha. The hype is so real and adorable.

June Favorites

Hey guys! Today i'm going to share my June favorites and i'm so sorry that this is really late, I've been really busy ((and lazy)) so please excuse the lateness of this post ; A;.

Starting with my favorite fashion items~ On the left you got my nike roshes and on the right you have a pair of socks from Urban Outfitters and it's of bart simpson mooning people and it's so adorable. I honestly recommend roshes, because they are one of the most comfortable shoes on the planet. Many people are jumping on the bandwagon of getting these and I can understand why! They are like walking on clouds and they are super cute qqqq. The socks are just like any pair of socks with a humorous/cute twist. They spice up any outfit and UO has a lot of these type of socks so you guys should go check them out.

Moving onto foods..i'm literally drooling just thinking about these ugh. Pretzel Crisps are a twist on the classic pretzel snack, but I personally like these better, because they are thin and extra crispy. It's like a chip form of a pretzel? It's quite hard to explain, but they have many flavors and original is probably still my favorite of them all. They come in bags that are easy to seal (seals like a ziplock) so it's really convenient to carry around and not make a mess. On the right is my holy grail cookie from Trader Joe's and honestly I don't want to bore you with anymore details, but you guys must try it out if you like cookies, chocolate, or almonds HAHA.

My two favorite makeup items for june has got to be the Anastasia dipbrow pomade and the etude house collagen moistfull moisturizer. The moisturizer is a bit thick, but it does a great job in moisturizing my face even though it takes a bit of time for it to set if you apply it all over your face. The Anastasia dipbrow pomade has weaseled it's way into my daily make-up routine (well whenever I put it on that is) and I really do love it. It's a holy grail item for many people, because it lasts long and has great pigmentation. The only thing I can say is that if you're new to doing your eyebrows or you don't have a shape it might be hard for you to fill in your brows, because you have to have a steady hand and make sure you don't put too much or you will look like drizzy drake. It's pigmented, but if you don't have a control you might put too much. I recommend you swipe the brush on either your hand or cap before applying the pomade. Other than that it's amazing and it last a lot longer than the brow whiz pencil (?).

Last but not least my favorite albums of the month. BAP's concept this time around for Where are you? is a bit different from their usual bad ass style and I really do like it and I have no idea why people don't. It's calming and the songs on the album is something I can listen to while sipping a lemonade/having a picnic or something along those lines. In contrast we have BTS's skool luv affair album which is filled with hard hitting songs and a few "sweeter" songs. I really do love both bands a lot so I hope you can listen to the albums and tell me your thoughts. Also i'm seeing BTS in AUG. for kcon and if you're going as well I hope I can meet you guys there keke.

Sorry for the really bad and rushed descriptions for everything. I promise i'll make a better post next time HAHA ((literally what I promise all the time, but no results........)) See you next time ~

Happy Monday everyone (✿´‿`)!! I'm finally back from my trip to Vegas and of course me being...well me....I went shopping and I definitely splurged, AHHH о(ж＞▽＜)ｙ ☆. My only regret was I didn't have enough time to look at all the stores I wanted to look at. All in all this trip was amazing cause I was able to spend time with my family and somewhat de-stress with this trip. I'm also very grateful for everything I got and for being able to get the VIP package (?) to see Le Reve at the Wynn (๑^  ^๑). Anyways, on to the haul+ootds.

Sadly I only had time to take two pictures of my outfits~ I'm very glad the weather was actually nice in Vegas since usually it's way too hot whenever I go with my family. Now time for the haul~ 

Before I went on my trip this came home to me and I wanted to scream (actually, I kinda did). I pre-ordered this on gamestop and let me tell you...it was a total beep, cause I had trouble through the process and not only that, but it took super long to come home compared to my friend who had pre-ordered it on the best buy website, which totally made me sad, but at least it came home safe and sound right? I got the collectors edition after much persuasion from two of my close friends and I do not regret it at all. The packaging and art was beautiful and i'm very glad I splurged on the collectors edition. I can't wait to play the game eeep.

Aside from the game everything else I bought was from the trip (ﾉ)´∀｀(ヾ)  I got a lot of great deals and i'm very happy because of that (although my wallet is hurting).

FIRST DAY SHOPPING

purse: Aldo (it was pricey tbh, but I am totally in love with this purse and I do not regret it)

shoes: Rue 21 (I wanted a similar pair to these, but I wasn't willing to pay $80 for it, so i'm glad I was able to find these for a WAAAAY cheaper price)

kimono: Rue 21 (brb crying because the pattern on this beauty is AMAZING)

cardigans: GAP (they were having a major sale so I just had to pick up these pastel cardigans, they're so soft!)

SHOPPING DAY 2

dusty pink maxi skirt: charlotte russe (the color is kinda muted in the picture, but ugh I love maxi skirts and I need more in my life!!!)

accessories: charlotte russe (2 for $10 necklaces [did a split on the third necklace with my cousin] and house of harlow earring dupes on sale??? don't mind if I do)

kimono & sandals: wet seal (50% OFF the whole store, so freakin happy!! Wanted to get more, but I was in a rush and had to get what I had in hand)

The show was amazing and beautiful to watch and the buffet was probably one of the best ones i've been too and the decor was amazing ugh.

collective haul + gifts

    Happy Friday bloggers! It's been awhile since I posted anything and i'm sorry for that..A lot of things have been happening, so I had no time to post anything //sigh//, but don't worry everything is getting better and I just finished finals eep!!! With that said, I promise I'll try to post more and more haha. Anyways, with that said I'm not gonna lie......I did major damage last month and I'm going to share it with you guys. I didn't buy all these things all at once so I'll have to use my IG pictures and I won't have the price for everything too, so sorry for that. I'll try to be more organized with my blog this new year, so please please stay tuned hehe.
   
    On to the stuff that I bought~ (disclaimer:everything [that wasn't the gifts] I bought was with my own money or with gift cards so yah hehe.)

items:
★ floral cardigan: I was presently surprised with this cardigan. I wasn't expecting much ,but I really was surprised when I got it. Not only is it super cute, but it's so comfy and it fits perfectly. 
★ tiger kimono: This piece was something I was really excited for, but ended up being quite disappointed. It was cute, but the way it lays is a bit meh and I don't know...maybe if I start wearing it more i'll like it a lot more.
★ striped body con skirt: I haven't tried it on yet, but I do like the material of it and with the price I got it for, i'm not complaining.
★ leather skirt: I was really scared when I bought this, because I wasn't sure it was going to fit, but when it came home and I tried it on I wanted to cry tears of joy. I love this skirt so so much. The details on the skirt is amazing and it's quite different from other skirts I have.
★ 3 statement necklaces: Winter Formal is coming up and I wanted to spice up my outfit by accessorizing it up and statement necklaces are where its at
★ stacks of bracelets: This set was probably one of my favorites I ever bought. It has gold, stones, and just a vintage/urban feel to it and it came with a lot for what you're paying!

bg info: Everything I bought was from forever 21 and I got everything, except for the jewelry, on sale + extra 50% off on their website.

Top Picture: patterned kimono, daisy top with bow detailing on the strap, blouse with floral detailing at the bottom, PINK knee high socks, and PINK leather backpack.

Bg info: All clothes are from local boutiques and the PINK socks and backpack are from Victoria Secret's PINK. (since everything was purchased around my area, other than the VS things, I won't get into much detail about everything since a lot of people won't be able to get access to these clothing pieces) 

Bottom picture: I'm literally so spoiled, everything I got in this picture is from my big (street) sister from SJ. Ever since we met each other we always exchange gifts during the holidays and these are the things she has gotten me. I'm so grateful for the gifts and of course the love that she gives me.

Hey everyone i'm back ヽ(ﾟｰﾟ*ヽ)!! I told you guys i'll try to make up for all the posts I should of posted before hehe ( /)u(\ ). For this post I will split it into two portions. ★ tiny shopping haul and updates ★

         //kicks dirt// uhm, I can explain //sobs//. I'm very sorry for my lack of posts...I've been so busy with school and i'm still trying to get over my cold 〜(￣▽￣〜) I promise i'll post frequently in the future. I wanted to post some of the outfits I wore recently, but then I realized everything (my pictures & photoshop) is on my USB I let my friend borrow (▰˘︹˘▰). So all I can do for now is show you a tiny haul, heh. I shopped over the weekend, but not a lot...I just cruised around with my family and went into small local boutiques in the Huntington Beach area. I hope to make a few more purchases this week, so look forward to it ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ). So, TA-DA here is my (tiny) haul ((stole this picture from my instagram)) ~

          Let me tell you this, i'm in love with everything I got. Some of these items (aka two things) are things I got from, before but I thought I would throw them in as a monthly haul thing. From left to right I got a floral kimono, an acid wash green flannel from TJ maxx, harem pants and a set of bracelets from wet seal, an open cardigan (similar to a brandy melville cardigan, but way more affordable), an open speckled(?) cardigan, and last but not least...buckled cut out booties //screams// (´▽`ʃƪ)♡. I honestly have been looking for almost all these items for a long time, but I wasn't able to afford some of the items, because the first time i've ever seen something similar...they were ridiculously priced, but now i've found them for decent prices and i'm crying tears of joy. Everything I bought fits nicely and they're all so comfortable. I can't wait to incorporate all these items into my closets and try to make cute outfits.......key word try heh. Music Monday + OOTD

 

    Happy Monday ya'll! Today i'm introducing the Music Monday series hehe ; A;;. Sadly it will be somewhat short and rushed, because I just got home and I've got a few tests to study for OTL" Also since I came home late my pictures are also rushed and ugly, because of the yellow light in my room which I apologize again for. I promise I'll write a better Music Monday next Monday, so please look forward to that.

      I'm in complete fan girl tears, SQUEAL. Justin released Heartbreaker just yesterday and I about died. I've been his fan since idk...one of his covers I happened to find on youtube, but I officially fell in love with him when one time came out with a music video hehe. I admit, he's been kinda "bad" lately, but I love him and he truly does care about his fans~ so please take a listen to it and maybe buy it on itunes heh.

    Happy Sunday Everyone! You know what Sunday means, homework day //cries a river//. Ah yes, I should of done it on Friday, I know I know...I tried to do it early and I was not motivated at all, sigh. Hopefully I'll be done soon, so I can enjoy my Sunday. Anyways, here is my first outfit post. It's not anything special, but I thought I would share. I have no one to take my photos and I don't have the best camera ever so bear with me.

   It's still hot in California, so I refuse to follow the rules and wear the "appropriate" colors for fall (Some rules are meant to be broken!!! AKA most fashion rules). I did though, tie in a darker colors for this outfit (ex. black purse & pattern + skirt). I'm still new to heels, so I look super awkward in them, so don't judge me ;~; //insert awkward laugh//.
