Bling it On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette (review & swatches)

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile...a lot of things occurred. My laptop broke, family emergencies, and school. I'm semi back now, because things have calmed down just a bit so look forward to some of my posts. I'm in the process of revamping my blog! I have a new blog name+blog design..tell me what you think.

On to the review! Today i'm reviewing the Bling it On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette by Tarte. You can find this on the Sephora website or in stores. I received this as a gift from one of my closest friends, Kaitlyn, who is pretty much like a sister to me! Check her blog out for me, won't cha!

It is $44 and the value of the palette is a whopping $110. Here is a little info about this blush palette that's from Sephora.

What it does:

This sleek, statement-making palette features five long-wearing, pigmented powder blushes. The full-size, flattering mix includes all-new stunners and blushing favorites powered by tarte’s iconic Amazonian clay, which helps to balance and replenish skin for better, longer, truer wear for a party-perfect flush. What it is formulated WITHOUT:

Tarte is probably one of my favorite brands, because the quality of their makeup is amazing and the ingredients they use are on point! Down below are a few pictures/swatches I took and what I think about the palette.

Here is the box it comes in and the actual palette. I like the design of the box, but for the actual palette...I wish they would of done something else. It's not heavy and it's not super bulky, but the black sequin/sparkle is not my favorite. I'm not fond of feeling that texture every time I use it. Also, I think they might fall off eventually. I could be wrong, but who knows. Not a big deal though. On to the blushes.

The palette comes with 5 blushes. They are pretty much in the pink range, but I think they are all unique in its own way. The colors they picked seem to look flattering on all skin colors, so that's already a plus. Each blush is 0.15 oz which is actually MORE than buying a single blush, which is 0.2 oz ($28), AWESOME! I have a normal sized one that I got last year and I almost use it every day and i'm still not out, so I know these will last me for a long time. I'm glad they put the names of blushes on the actual palette instead of the plastic sheet that it comes with. I think it's really annoying to have to keep that sheet just so you know what the names are. Time for swatches! Please forgive me for my horrible swatches and ugly ass arm haha.

I'm not that great at describing the colors so I'll spare myself the embarrassment. The blushes claim to last 12 hours and I don't remember if it actually lasted 12 hours..but I do know they last a LONG time. I also heard they last longer than the new cute too faced ones, don't quote me on that though. They're all pretty much matte, but the last color (beaming) seems to have a little bit of shimmer, which I don't hate! The shimmer/glitter is not chunky and it's not that noticeable on the cheeks. It gives a nice look though so don't be scared of it. Also, Dollhouse was a shade I wasn't sure I would use too much, because it's almost leaning towards a barbie pink..something I usually don't gravitate towards. When I tried it on though, it wasn't as scary as it looks. It's barbie pink, without being too costume-y, if that makes sense. The pigmentation on all these blushes are great and they are easy to apply and blend.

As a recap it's $44 and the value is $110. The normal price for an Amazonian Clay Blush is $28. The single ones are 0.2 oz and the ones in the palettes are 0.15 oz. The single ones last a long time, so I definitely know that you will get to use this bad boy for even longer. Overall I recommend this palette or the blushes in general. They last a long time and they're very pretty. The palette is such a steal so I suggest getting it before it runs out since it is part of their Holiday collection.

Hope this review was helpful and my swatches aren't too bad. Looking forward to posting more x.
